Mang Inasal blooms at the 2025 Panagbenga Festival

Posted on 23 Feb 2025

Mang Inasal, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, brought its “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” campaign to the heart of Baguio for the 2025 Panagbenga Festival. The month-long festival, famous for its vibrant parades and rich cultural display, provided the perfect backdrop for Mang Inasal to highlight its beloved offerings that bring people together over great food.

Following successful runs at Sinulog and Dinagyang, Mang Inasal made its mark at Panagbenga with a series of Unli-Saya (unlimited fun) events, creating unforgettable experiences for both locals and tourists alike.

“Mang Inasal is truly honored to partner with the Department of Tourism in sharing the flavors that define us,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro. “This year, we’re inspired to continue sharing our Ihaw-Sarap food and the Unli-Saya experience of our customers, just as the Panagbenga Festival fills the streets with energy and excitement. Like the blooms of Panagbenga, we are proud to grow alongside our loyal customers.”

Festival-goers were treated to a special Panagbenga Festival Deal from February 17 to 23, where they enjoyed a FREE Small Coke with the purchase of a Solo Fiesta Chicken Inasal and Extra Creamy Halo-Halo 8oz. The exclusive offer was available for dine-in and takeout at Mang Inasal Baguio locations.

At SM City Baguio, visitors enjoyed free samples of Pork BBQ; while at Melvin Jones, Burnham Park, Mang Inasal served its Ihaw-Sarap favorites through a special Mang Inasal Takeout Express Booth.

The highlight of the festival was Mang Inasal’s participation in the Grand Float Parade, where the brand’s magnificent float, showcasing the beauty and flavors of the country, captivated the crowd. The “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” float was crowned Grand Champion in the Medium Float Category. Inspired by the breathtaking Rice Terraces and the vibrant Butterfly Sanctuary of Baguio, the float mesmerized both local and foreign festivalgoers with its stunning design and rich cultural symbolism.

More than an award-winning display, it was a heartfelt tribute to the beauty, heritage, and flavors that make the Philippines truly special.

“Just like the iconic landmarks that embody the beauty of the Philippines, Mang Inasal has become a destination for anyone seeking authentic flavors and memorable experiences,” added Castro.

To close the celebration, Mang Inasal will participate in the Fluvial Parade on February 27, offering a Halo-Halo sampling to festival-goers at Burnham Park.
