Mang Inasal honored with three Philippine Quill Awards

Mang Inasal recently won three Philippine Quill Merit Awards.
The Gawad PiliPinoy and the Solb ang Pinoy each bagged a Quill Merit Award under the Communication Management Division’s Corporate Social Responsibility category.
Gawad PiliPinoy recognizes outstanding Filipinos who share their talents to the community through a selfless advocacy. The Quill awardee had Mang Inasal’s 2019 Gawad PiliPinoy, Iloisa Romaraog-Diga. She helped establish the online portal, Session Groceries, which provided Benguet farmers an alternative online distribution channel, enabling them to command better prices.
The Solb ang Pinoy celebrated unique Filipino craftsmanship and work ethics. The Quill-winning video featured the barong maker and the banig weaver.
Meanwhile, the Buwan ng Wika campaign won a Quill Merit Award under the Communication Management Division’s Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications category. The winning video, Inlababo, featured a Balikbayan teen who was smitten by a lovely lass who he tried to befriend by speaking in Filipino.
All three award-winning initiatives were developed and implemented in partnership with DDB PHL.
The Philippine Quill is the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication. It has been bestowing the seal of approval to the most reputable organizations and corporations in the nation for almost two decades, emphasizing the use of excellent communication to achieve business goals, and to make a difference in society.
The 18th Philippine Quill awards is sponsored by the Philippine Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.
